A Midhurst success story

A Midhurst success story

Tucked away down a little pathway leading from Midhurst High Street are 17 charming new homes at Wells Mews. The houses have proven very attractive to homebuyers keen to live moments from the heart of the town, with 14 already spoken for. The first owners have moved in this spring and there are only three houses now available..

“There’s still a great opportunity to move to one of our three bedroom mews houses before missing out entirely,” says Lesley McKay of Oakford Homes, the award-winning developer behind Wells Mews. “I’ve met so many interesting people who have come to see our show home and who are now moving in to Wells Mews. It’s wonderful to see them now settling in and the development is really starting to come to life.”

Such was the success of the initial interior designed show home, which included finishing touches in Midhurst estate’s yellow, that the property was soon reserved and a new show home was opened at Easter - only to be reserved within a few days!

“We are delighted with how well the houses here have been received, especially the attention to design and detail which runs right through from floor tiles to roof tiles,” Lesley adds. “Oakford Homes have really thought of everything including first floor laundry areas and a stunning top floor master suite complete with wardrobes, storage and a fabulous ensuite. Many of our buyers have taken advantage of the government’s Help to Buy scheme and we’re here to help guide people through the process if they wish.”

To make buying even easier, Oakford Homes will pay the standard level of stamp duty for reservations and completions taking place within a limited timescale.

The final homes are almost ready to move into complete with carpets and tiled floors, lawned gardens and beautifully finished kitchens equipped with Smeg appliances.  They can each be viewed through visiting the show home in Lamberts Lane, Midhurst, just behind the listed building housing the South Downs National Park Authority.

“There’s so much to do on the doorstep with polo at Cowdray, the amazing events at Goodwood just down the road, and of course all set against a backdrop of the South Downs for an active outdoor lifestyle. For those who’d rather just browse the local shops or watch the world go by with a coffee at hand, there’s really nowhere better than Midhurst, it’s a wonderful place to be.”

Prices for the final three properties at Wells Mews range from £460,000 to £565,000 and the show home is open daily from 10am to 5pm where Lesley can be contacted for further information on 01730 812916 or email midhurst@oakfordhomes.co.uk
